Mid Canterbury’s age group rep teams for the 2023 season have been named.

This year Mid Canterbury will field two under-16 teams and one under-18 team, with all three teams set to be in action at King’s Birthday Weekend.

The two under-16 teams will play at the 2023 Tupuranga Tournament, which is run by Mid Canterbury Netball and Christchurch Netball and will this year be played at Pioneer Stadium in Christchurch from June 3-5.

Mid Canterbury’s under-18 team will also play in Christchurch, at a Christchurch Netball Centre run tournament from June 4-5.

The Mid Canterbury under-16A and under-18 teams will also then attend the Field Days tournament hosted by Hurunui, but played in Rangiora, on June 25.

Mid Cantebury’s age group rep teams for 2023 are:

Mid Canterbury U18: Charlotte Bota, Chloe Braas, Nikita Burton, Rose Dargue, Hannah Digby, Madison Holgate, Poppy Jemmett, Grace Prendergast, Sienna Skilling, Sera Ula. The team will be coached by Claire Tappin.

Non-travelling reserves: Aisling Monson, Arlina Smith.

Mid Canterbury U16A: Elsie Dargue, Savena Fagalima, Rebekah Kalweit, Ruby Patterson, Sara Sheppard, Kalotia Ula, Makeleta Ula, Lucy Williams, Ruby Williams, Melenaite Tuamoheloa. The team will be coached by Margaret Butler.

Mid Canterbury U16B: Nikita Cavanagh, Tayla Estreich, Isla Hart, Lulu Kilworth, Emma Lowry, Amelia Mitchell, Siosiana Taufa, Ally Thomas, Matilda Johnson, Kelcey Wilson. The team will be coached by Paula Strawbridge.

Non-travelling reserves: April Bishop, Ella Bradley, Sarah Reeve, Stephanie Fourie.
