Role: Coach of Rylib Southern Lights

How long have you been involved in netball for?

I've been a part of netball in one form or another for 20 years.

What was the first team you coached?

My first team I coached was the Men's Canterbury C team.

What’s the most rewarding part of being a coach?

My highlight as a coach was making the semi finals last year in the ACL premiership.

How would you describe your coaching style?

My coaching style is direct and team orientated I focus on fitness and basics 

What advice would you give to someone considering taking up coaching?

A piece of advice I would give to a new coach would be no matter what level you coach always start with the basics. Basic netball is good and coachable netball.
